And it is the body of work that renders a speech at this late point meaningless and hollow.

I've given him two fairly recent extended hearings: The first was one of his Covid pressers. It was a self ass kiss fest, followed by an extended commercial of ass kissing from Pence and a few other flunkies. The second was the Tulsa speech in which he dwelt mostly on ramp walking, water sipping, and efforts to reduce (perhaps jokingly, perhaps not as he claimed both sides in the week following) Covid testing.

A speech with 4 months to kick off his lame duck phase rings hollow.
