where the action is. I already have a place in California and wouldn't mind settling out West permanently (not California). That said, it's tough to leave the pace of the City. In high stakes finance, you have to be seen to be heard. And a lot of the action is done behind closed doors ... and can't be done over video or phones.

I'm ready to get out ... but there's always new blood knocking. People move to where the money is. I wish it wasn't that way ... but it is. I thought 9/11 would be the game changer but even more people were waiting in line to get in.
