True, although I like oldies too. The Stones will always be my #1.

Although for a time Floyd was right up there with them. Had phases where I listened to primarily 60's and 70's groups even though I wasn't even alive then. Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Hendrix, etc.; had a Dead phase in college too, but not really into the "jam band" scene. Periods where I was really into 70's/early 80's punk too.
Dig the classics, even though I grew up in an era with some pretty solid contemporary music of its own. It's funny, our associates will often tell me they love the classics .... you know, Nirvana, Pear Jam, Tupac, Biggie... I"m like "thanks, guys! Thanks for making me feel old!"
