My wife and I were in a "Marriage Encounter" group when we lived in NJ

One of the couples said that they had met a when they were 16 in a German Concentration camp and were scheduled for being killed the next day. I don't remember the exact details, but I think it was liberation by one of the Allied forces. In any event, they survived, married and came to the US. She was working as an RN when we knew them.
