That’s part of being a politician. They want the bern supporters to vote in November.

In case you’re interested, you can of course listen to the entire Barkan interview. Or read the summary of the clips that were strategically absent from JM’s YouTube propaganda clip (I linked one). No where in it does he call for police defunding. Redirecting funding, in answer to this one question, is not defunding the police. He says specifically, in parts of the interview not included in the Trumpistani propaganda clip meant to misrepresent his position, that “increasing funding for mental health is not the same as getting rid of or defunding the police”.

And since this one interview is not the sum total of the Biden campaign platform, much as you and JM and all of Trumpistan want to make like it is because you think it’s this great gotcha moment, Biden has said elsewhere that he wants to provide $300 million in grants to police for things like enhanced training.

I get you’ll keep on keepin’ on with this false assertion, so have at it. I don’t think this will save Trump. I think the country knows Biden is the more centrist dem option who has repeatedly stated he does not support “defunding”. And I think most of the country is hip to the real goal of the Trump domestic military deployments. To create urban chaos where not enough existed for the benefit of his advertising imagery.
