really sloppy. He later try to clarify by saying he didn’t mean the virus was a hoax but rather the criticism of the government’s response and management was a hoax. His parrots repeated that. I can listen to that clip and believe that maybe that was what he meant. But then he sloppily spoke about coronavirus and hoaxes after that. It’s kind of similar to his responses after the August 12 attack on Charlottesville. He said one thing pretty sloppily then tried to clarify that it meant something different than how many of us took it, then said something equally bad sloppily. Rinse and repeat. At some point you begin to wonder if he is really that in articulate, or if he’s deliberately sending mixed signals.
