"Accepting Failure" is pretty much where I am at this point. I HATE taking
that position, because we could have and should have gotten this thing under control, but regardless of who to blame (yeah, I have some thoughts there, but will skip them), the reality of the current situation is 'it is what it is.'
Lockdown again? What's the point? So we can sequester everything for another month, just to come back out and have the idiots get another wave/spread going, so we can lockdown again? Have another year, this time a full one, of crappy education for my kids? Have families with kids less fortunate than mine that CAN'T work from home not know what to do with their kids?
I'm in a risk pool, but I'm at that point of acceptance. I'll continue to do social distancing and masking, and I hope others do as well, but I'll just have to focus on protecting myself and my family as best as I can given the 25% or so of the country who continues to be part of the problem.
