I personally don't think Trump will. He's just not that strong and

our institutions are that strong (still).

Now, he may well float some strongman wet dreams to see if there's support for them. But there won't be. Most Republicans (a party probably out of power in both the House and Senate) have to be weary of the Trump shitshow.
