You realize that technically they didn't actually burn down the White House, right? :-)

Rice is obviously a very bright and accomplished person, and despite her lack of campaigning experience, would be plenty qualified to handle the job IMO. But if Sleepy Joe picks her, I don't see how that doesn't shift the conversation heavily to her role in Russiagate/unmasking, and to a lesser degree that infamous Youtube video that triggered Benghazi. I'm not sure why Team Sleepy Joe would want him to ineptly handle that shift of focus. But JMHO.
