I thought the same when I heard that. But it still isn’t a “lie”

It’s spin, and my first thought was if they are trying to be the ticket of “science”, that’s some pretty “anti-science” spin.

They support a president who occasionally tells the truth by accident. So of course they have to reinvent the definition of the word “lie” if they want to criticize...well, anyone, really, for lying.

Credibility - it is going to be a severe shortcoming for the former subjects of Trumpistan for years to come. When you accept, rationalize, and justify all the shit Trump says and does, how can you expect to be taken seriously when you criticize others for much of anything?
