Oh, I understand. I was just saying that what HowieT3 was describing isn't

unique to rural commercial delivery services. What doesn't make sense is that they use the same hybrid delivery technique, e.g., UPS Mail Innovations for suburban and urban delivery, too, when it would be delivered faster (3 days max), if not cheaper, if they just shipped solely via USPS, especially for packages that are little more than just envelopes anyway. I mean, why make it more complicated with yet another moving part (and expensive?) than necessary.

For example, I live in NoVA and ordered 4 seed packets from a place in SC. They shipped it via UPS Mail Innovations. First it went to NJ for some reason via UPS, then ostensibly got transferred to the USPS, but it never "arrived" at the receiving post office. It was originally scheduled for delivery 4 days after purchase, then 6 once it was transferred to the post office, then ultimately "undetermined" after many days passed, well past the 6th day. It took me almost 2 months to get it sorted out because the seller needed to give the USPS 30 days before they could initiate an investigation. Meanwhile, of course, the growing season is passing. I finally got totally refunded, but that's because I'm tenacious, and I pressed everyone in the pipeline, too. It was still a real pain in the ass, but I learned from the seller themselves that they have a lot of problems with it, which of course, made me ask, then, why you use it?

But that's just my experience. The link I provided shows just how many people are frustrated by UPS Mail Innovations. Like one of the reviewers said, "For the love of God just use USPS, NOT UPS!!"
