I think it comes naturally. There's absolutely ZERO expectations of

results or accountability for Trump to actually deliver on anything from his devoted cult members. They readily accept utter and complete failure while using pretzel logic and moved goalpost to declare success. They live in an alternative universe where Qanon is a reliable news source... where conspiracy theories that Hillary Clinton used MS 13 to assassinate Seth Rich are espoused by GOP candidates. It seems that ~20% or so of the country is fully committed to this cult. Dumb people are easily duped and brainwashed. It's sad.
