Radical fanaticism to any set of ideals is dangerous. There are fanatics


On both sides of the spectrum. The more moderate people on both sides of the aisle are following the same script. They’re in denial that moderates even exist in the other party and are therefore tolerating the extremists on their own side (instead of repudiating them) due to their fear or outright loathing of the opposition. It’s a recipe for disaster but too many people go right on cooking it.
