On LI for instance, my dad’s synagogue (also the one I grew up in) opened with limited advanced reservations, all the requisite rules, and my dad was specifically excluded. People of a certain age were asked to stay away.

So far, those have not resulted in spikes. And nobody is shutting them down. So in reality, Jews are not being targeted by anyone - there are large Jewish populations outside the zip codes now being shuttered to one extent or another. Areas with spiking positivity rates are being targeted, that is true.
