Come on, man.

Even if the emails are real, there's precisely zero chance the store dropoff story is. This is what we're being told to believe:

- The son of the vice president goes to some random shitty storefront to get THREE laptops with water damage repaired. Somehow this is only going to cost $80. But there was a Beau Biden sticker on the laptop!
- Hunter then leaves all three laptops there without picking them up. Then the owner of the shop decides to go through these files on these random laptops. This means that Hunter did not have a password on any of the devices - a simple unlock password that literally everyone is prompted to put on devices as soon as they boot them up - despite having numerous compromising photos of himself on the laptop.
- The shop owner, who has no reason to do any of this, decides that Rudy Giuliani is the right person to contact here, then gives the data to the FBI despite the fact that there hasn't been a credible allegation of anything criminal on the laptop.
- To add to the bounty of stupid we're being fed, if you check the warranty on the serial number of the external hard drive that's on the docs, it shows that the hard drive was manufactured a week after it was supposedly dropped off for repair.

This is the level of idiocy we're supposed to believe. If the emails are real, it's plainly obvious that someone hacked his iCloud and is trying to cover their tracks. So why are they lying?
