...I get the humor and have gererally been a fan of SBC's movies. With that said, I am really uncomfortable with what apparently happened here -- and this is not because Rudy is the apparent victim. (I've felt sorry for some of SBC's previous victims, too, as he often takes advantage of human weaknesses that we all share and then profits from them.)

I haven't read up on the Rudy video story beyond what has been posted on this board, but I gather that some hot actress -- claiming to be a reporter -- seduced a man into a sexual encounter for the sole purpose of trying to embarrass that man internationally and on film. That's just not right. There was no crime committed or even alleged here as far as I know. There's nothing wrong with a single man wanting to hook up with a single woman, and I'd guess many or most guys on this board in the same position would be equally as tempted.

I don't know the legal aspects of this, but I would think that video-taping someone without their consent and then distributing that videotape is illegal. Maybe it's not in this case because Rudy is a public figure, but hopefully we can agree that this is just really wrong, regardless.

The stuff that Rudy is going after with respect to the Bidens is criminal in nature -- highly criminal and corrupt -- and a direct threat to U.S. interests. You may choose to believe the allegations are false, and that's fine IMO, but Rudy is not going after the Bidens for using their entree fork to eat their salad. This is serious business.
