First and foremost, Biden has to win. I share your optimism but wouldn’t bet a penny on it. I know there’s a chance I’ll be saying in November: “ok, all these polls and predictive tools are clearly fatally flawed”.

Then, let’s see how he wins. If it’s by a large margin and we get reliable projections of the result quickly - let’s say by Nov 4, then I don’t think the Don will be able to do much more than bluster.

If the whole thing drags on and on because results in key states are just too close to call, and/or we see this expected phenomenon of repubs ahead on Election Day, then overtaken by the unusual absentee volume, that’s probably where your scenario is most likely to come to pass.

So, my view is we just take it one step at a time.
