Disappointment and anger are huge motivators for human action.


I think that human nature tells us that a pissed off person is much more likely to act to change something than a person who is pleased with things as they are.

This notion has been shown in the turnout for the '18 elections, protests in the streets this summer, and just about every poll dealing with presidential or other party candidates.

The hangover from the disappointment of the '16 election is hard to shake, but what we are seeing in turnout now is a response to that and the intervening 4 years. Millions of people have been waiting for 4 YEARS to rectify that disaster.
