Trump, the racial unifier?
When it's all said and done, I think Trump will have won a bigger share of minorities of all stripes... Despite of all the racist talk/behavior from the last 4 years and beyond (lifetime, really). For example, take Starr County in TX, one of the poorest and most Hispanic (97%). It's been devastated by Covid-19. Clinton won by 60%, Biden by 5%. With an increased turnout.
My question is, what gives? Does this mean that now class/education are bigger identities than ethnicity alone? Difficult to extrapolate from one county, but the trend is also true in Florida and anecdotally for what that's worth. Thanks for listening to my rant.
