Listen, I think if they don't the one thing they will do is cause permanent and generational harm to moderate voters. That's one thing.

But the other much more scary thing is Trump will not concede. He won't ever call Joe to congratulate him on the win. But much more scarily, I am not sure he will physically remove himself from the White House. I am seriously having angst just thinking of military confrontations in DC. I mean, this could get really really really bad unless national Republican leaders try to come in. So far, they have been on the sidelines or worse. And don't give me Mitch's announcement today. That had just as much passive aggressiveness in it as it did problem solving and support for the U.S. election process. He's fanning the flames without all the hot air and rhetoric of Graham.
