I've said it before but I think that was the biggest lost opportunity of


these 4 yrs. Chuck and Nancy could've gotten just about anything they wanted (immigration reform, infrastructure spending, etc.) if only they would've worked with him to allow him some "wins", and then let him stand up there and say 1) it's the greatest thing ever and 2) pat himself on the back to take all the credit. And I think it still could've happened even after Russiagate.

I get they couldn't stand the idea or risk of 4 more years of Trump, but they may find an equally resistant Mitch and possible flipping of the House in '22 to be much less desirable if they actually wanted to achieve those goals rather than just obtain power.

Not to further diminish your rare likings of Trump, but you probably need to thank Li'l Marco more for that child tax credit. He's the one that pushed hard to get that in the tax bill. Just something to keep in mind for '24. :-)
