You're missing a key point...

They are reporting that the President (or his lawyers) SAY that such fraud occurred, which is true -- they did say that. There is nothing wrong with a news source reporting what the President of the United States is saying -- that's called "reporting" or "news". The problem would be if they covered up what the President is saying.

That is different, however, than saying that the fraud actually occurred, which they are not saying. That will either be proven or not proven over time.

Nobody knows for a "fact" at this point whether it occurred, as it would be impossible to know that. Many people still dispute the 2016 election, for example, and we've had four years to digest that.

While you cite examples of state/local officials saying that it didn't (which they couldn't possibly know), there are other state and local officials saying they're not so sure, so it needs to be investigated. My only point is that all that info should be out there.
