Here's my perspective. I don't identify with either party. I've voted R

more in my life than I have D. However, Biden was getting my vote (even though I was disappointed that Biden got that nomination) because I want Trump out. Call mine a Trump protest vote. I think there are alot like me.

On the other side - I think there are ALOT of people that essentially cast a protest vote against riots/screw the police/BLM (the group, not what the 3 words together actually mean) and cancel culture. I think Trump got many such protest votes.

I sure wish we could reign in both the far right and the far left and get politics more in the moderate zone.
