Parents are - my dad is 85 with enough health issues that we assume covid would = curtains for him. Given that, I was unwilling to take any chances at all. Helped along by my sister, who is in CA visiting her new grandson, and who threatened to put a contract out on me if I did any less.

So - I started quarantine after work on 11/12. Took my Covid test Wednesday, so almost a week later to let the disease take hold in me if it were there, and it came back negative. I am still quarantined - climbing the walls a little - and will remain so until I go have my one on one tgiving with my old man.

Is it wrong that part of me was hoping for a false positive so I could spend tgiving at home watching football?

So it depends on your parents IMO. I think the odds are really slim you got it from drink girl, but who knows where else you might have if you are somewhat out and about? If you think Covid would = almost inevitable very serious problems for the parents, I’d stay away from them this one tgiving. It will suck for them I’m sure, but you all have to decide if it’s worth the risk (and exactly what the risks are from you and your bro’s activities overall - not just last Tuesday).

Other thing is see if you can get a test and a quick response - if you got the bug last Tuesday, it should show up by now.
