Sure, if you want to argue that he spoke out of both sides of his mouth and at time encouraged and at other times discouraged mask wearing, I'll give you that. But that still absolutely includes a pattern of discouraging mask usage by saying he doesn't want to wear one and making fun of people who do.

And if you look at his rally and his staff (White House staff, campaign staff, etc.) they have clearly chosen to follow the "discourage" messaging because they don't wear them. Since he tends to fire people who don't do what he wants, and all those people who predominantly don't wear masks are still employed, it's obvious to anyone with eyes that he has discouraged mask usage (even if he hasn't used the exact word "discourage").

But you keep ignoring what we all see with our own eyes and hear with own ears - it's what you've come to do best in your alternate reality.
