I’m a huge proponent of opening schools, just like Fauci


But Fauci clearly says close the bars, open the schools. That’s completely different from the GOP’s failed open up everything.

By leaving everything open, schools are being forced to close due to uncontrolled spread in the community. It’s awful policy that stems from a failed federal response. Schools should be the last thing to close. If schools are closing, churches, restaurants, gyms, and bars all need to be closed. If they stay open, schools are fucked (and our kids suffer). That’s on the federal government’s failure of a response.
