definitely allowed our front line doctor friends to get vaccinated early (makes total sense), but the process for who qualifies is loose at best. One of my wife's friend is a clinical therapist who has only been doing virtual/teleheath sessions since covid began. She was able to get the vaccine by virtue of being a "licensed medical professional". My wife who has cancer is not able to get the vaccine. It's a bit frustrating.

I've pretty much resigned to not getting the vaccine until late spring, but I would like for my wife to get it sooner.
