Didn't catch speaker's name on CNN earlier, but he made the point that Trump has zero political capital, there is zero will to work with him, hasn't spoken to Pence since Wednesday, senior WH aides are reportedly avoiding him. Who would execute his orders?

Sure, he can still get on TV, and could probably scratch out a pardon, but what else could he really do? Any executive order issued, if distasteful, could easily be ignored for the next 12 days by department heads. What is Trump going to do about it?
