There’s been a lot of debate over Facebook’s role in the Rohingya genocide. In retrospect, they probably wish they’d been more aggressive in screening out certain content.

We can argue back and forth about which content Twitter should control. But we can’t really argue about their right to control content. It would be more like censorship if govt stepped in and required that they include or exclude content.

Nobody is preventing Trump from going on the internet and saying anything he wants. But his chosen service providers decided they don’t want him. They have that right.

Separately, do we need to look at social media in general, and how much power resides with a few players? I certainly think so.
