Watching his speech start to finish, I sure think he did. More importantly, we need to understand the role of the disinformation campaign that went on for weeks prior to it.

But to your point, it really can’t be done with an eye towards vengeance. I hope the end result is that Trump can never run for federal office again, but I don’t know how likely that is, and it’s probably not much worse than Clinton being disbarred after he left office. That’s not really the point. This post election period even before the dimwit coup was unprecedented in our history.
