I’d argue we are seeing unity. That does not mean all or even

Most repubs favor impeachment - they don’t. From what I can gather though, as much as 2/3 of the nation favors it. And every part of the political and social spectrum is represented in that majority. You’ve seen it in the groundswell of revulsion from all corners of our society - such as corporate America pulling back dollars from Trump and those who reprehensibly objected to the election after the dimwit coup.

This is an interview from last night’s NewsHour with Adam Kinzinger about his decision to vote to impeach. I thought he did a fine job explaining how all that we’ve seen since Election Day should transcend petty partisanship. His view is - I can either help the repub party reclaim its soul, or I may well get primaried, but by a party that I really don’t belong in anyway.

Whether or not this results in conviction, we’ll see. But we are seeing a wide swath of the nation rally around core American principles over Trumpism.
