The person he was wailing on was either kneeling or just prone in some way.


Clearly the way to stop someone from disrespecting America by kneeling is to beat them nearly to death with the American flag until they come around to your way of thinking and stand up.

At which point, they probably shout "He's coming right for us" and shoot him.
