If I could manufacture my own personal ideal president, who favored exactly everything I do, my support for him would vanish the second he started spreading disinformation because he’s too much of a pussy to accept an electoral loss. I’d scream for his head on a platter if he launched a violent mob at the Capitol during certification of that vote.

So the problem with you isn’t what you think Trump represented before he became head of the American Taliban. It’s your tolerance and defense of him since.
