Signaling that the reader is about to take the next exit from the Information Superhighway, off to Crazytown.


edit: I am particularly amused by the lead article discussing the imminent collapse of Western Civilization, which cites as evidence literally centuries of similar such claims. I imagine the author expects that the reader will be impressed enough by the pile of literary citations to ignore the irony of using hundreds of years of failed predictions to establish the legitimacy of this one.
