You have, as usual, misstated by beliefs. I never said that it's not dangerous. I said that it is as serious (actually less serious) than the flu for most people, which is undeniably true. COVID mostly kills people who are very old, very sick and usually both. It is much less deadly to the young than is the flu. The median age of death from/with COVID is near or past normal life expectancy. Yes, the 400,000 figure is fraudulent, as are the testing figures, but that's not to say that it hasn't killed a lot of people.

My position has never been that it's not dangerous, but that the lockdowns and other similar steps we have taken were insane, including using it to corrupt a Presidential election. My view was that these lockdown measures were likely to be 1) ineffective and 2) damaging in their own right. Again, facts have proved me correct on both accounts. We now have lockdown central out here in L.A. also being ground zero for COVID infections. My, my -- what a surprise. Who could have seen that coming, except, well, me?

By the way, you might have heard of the Newsweek article that was just published apparently saying the same about lockdowns. I guess it's safe to say that now that Trump is gone, and Biden is here.

The good news is that with Biden now in office and the Trump vaccines available (which no one on your side said was possible on that timeline, by the way), we will likely reopen sooner rather than later. It's nice to see lefty politicians, like Cuomo and Lightfoot, calling for such now that Orange Man Bad is gone. My guess is that Garcetti and Newsom will follow suit soon.
