There was no reason to ever give him the benefit of the doubt. He has been

a proven liar and self promoting fool for 40 years. Trump has always utilized the swamp to get ahead in his business life, and in fact, boasted about paying off politicians.

Its a damn shame what he's done to the country. It will take years to get back to some normalcy.
