In a statement to the Post Wednesday, Charles Flynn confirmed his participation in the meeting between Washington, D.C., officials, Capitol Police and the Pentagon.

Flynn’s statement flatly contradicts numerous denials from Army officials — including one Jan. 12 email to the Post saying: “HE WAS NOT IN ANY OF THE MEETINGS!” — who have since u-turned and confirmed his presence to the Post.
