when describing what this, from a macro sense, has been about for 5 years. It's no coincidence that after we get the first unWhite President in our history, that we get the most racist modern day President who appeals to all nationalistic white groups so fiercely. This feels like their last stand and they are fearful as hell. They are going to fight like hell because they are losing their monopolistic hold on power.

How dare people say certain sports teams name are racists. It's we the white people who make those calls.
How dare people try and stop the use of the defeated Confederate flags and Confederate heroes from our government lands and institutions. It's we the white people who make those calls.
How dare we try and educate people on the racial atrocities our country has in its history. It's we the white people who make those calls.
How dare you talk about white privilege. It's we the white people who make those calls.
How dare black men peacefully kneel at the national anthem. That's our flag and those are our teams.
How dare you say black lives matter. It's we the white people who say all lives matter.

This is about 1 thing - loss of power. And because white people have literally been grown up for 400 years to assume it is theirs, this is about giving up their version of America. Look at the election turn out. It was unprecedented. White America overwhelmingly re-elected Trump. It was not close. They will REALLY fight for their power. A pretty moderate Democrat was just elected but that's not how they see it. They see this as their last stand.
