Yeah, that was the reason for my post...


I'm not sure how you demonstrate failure to meet the provisions of a contract, personal injury, battery, negligence, defamation, malpractice, fraud, etc. that are the underpinnings for civil action. Fraud but that is a huge stretch in my opinion. So I think the criminal actions would remain separate from the civil actions...but I'm not an attorney so hopefully someone else can provide a better explanation.
