Biden administration froze all late Trump-issued regulations, this one until March, in order to review them. Democrats have supported legislation (HR 3) allowing the federal government to negotiate the price of certain drugs, including insulin. It also required manufacturers to offer those agreed-on prices to private insurers, extending the benefits to a wider swath of Americans. That bill passed the House but McConnell did not bring it to the floor in the Senate.
