In the past, I've been hesitant to end the filibuster

but not now. It turned into a tool to break the Senate. It becomes too easy to blame the government when what is needed is responsibility for actions. Reconciliation is just a jerry-rigged system to compensate for the filibuster and should not be needed. So pass the bill.

The next battle will be over voting rights bills and I have no wish to see McConnell and buddies kill them using the filibuster. There is already a war over voting on the state level.
