That is unfortunately not true in Texas


The Governor banned local government from implementing restrictions beyond the state level ones early in the CV19 days. The party of local government strikes again.

Businesses can, but they have the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with maskholes who may be armed. Someone assaulted an employee at my gym over being asked to wear a mask. The gyms couldn't get people to mask up until there was a statewide mandate and they could call the police...of course now that's about over.
