heard the "just hang on 2 more weeks, 1 more month, etc" refrain for so long that it starts to become noise. This time it does sorta seem for real with vaccines available to all who want them within a few weeks, but right on cue the usual cast of suspects is there to pour cold water on the idea that vaccines = freedom basically every time it comes up.

I'll say this: once I'm 2 weeks post-vax, I'm done in the absence of new, compelling data. I'll continue to wear masks in businesses that require it as I respect a private business's right to control their space, but other than that I'm done. I will not be participating in safety theater.
