I could see him eeking it out if the economy were bad and it were Harris


rather than Biden. He'd need both of those conditions, and maybe not even then if Harris is perceived as 'doing well' as VP, not sure how that gets quantified. He would do maybe a few % points better with independents, higher educated, and suburbanites than Trump 2 (where Trump really got destroyed) while potentially holding enough of Trump's base. Very narrow path, would have to win GA, WI and AZ obviously and steal 1 more e.v. somehow, but those states were fractions of a percent.

He honestly probably is their best chance at this point (which is not saying much), but it's a long ways away.
