I have no idea about this case. But Prosecutors and Investigators generally want to hold back if they are still interviewing or looking for eyewitnesses. Once the video is out, you can’t tell the difference between a real witness and someone who just saw the video. Prosecutors are also trying to protect the witness and jury pool and avoid issues if they have to go to trial. In reference to redaction, this was a drug warrant. It’s possible that confidential informant or other sensitive witness information is contained (especially in the audio)?
