If there's one place that Trump was dead meat on the ballot, it's VA

I think a center right pragmatist can win in Virginia by focusing on schools and business, but the state is just too well educated and knowledgeable about government to go for the Trump brand of crazy. I don't think it's healthy for any party to nominate someone like Chase so I'll be glad if she doesn't move forward, but she would get stomped in the general election.

I'm more curious how a nominally sane candidate like Youngkin can do trying to keep the Trump wing engaged while appealing to the NoVa and Richmond moderates enough to keep it close there.
