I would assume people will fill up with premium even if their

car takes regular.

The panic over the shortage is just going to make the shortage worse as people hoard gas. The good news with gas is there's a limit to hoarding due to storage... unlike say toilet paper.

My car is almost on empty. Hope it resolves before next week when I need to take my kid into school (he's at home for exams this week)
