pretty amazing that even something like willingness to get vaccinated can be so divided among political lines. But I would have never guessed that masks during a pandemic would be the source of a major culture war along political lines either. I’m mostly like you in that if anti science Neanderthals don’t want to get vaccinated.... fuck ‘em. I’m vaccinated, so I don’t really care. But there are people in this country who are legitimately not able to be vaccinated due to health reasons so achieving herd immunity would reduce the risk to those people. And the longer we let this thing circulate among unvaccinated people, the more likely it is to mutate its way around the vaccine.
