I got my first communion in second grade but that was it. It’s been since the mid-nineties that I actually went to mass (outside of a wedding). But I remember all the adults drinking out of the same bottle of wine and the priest wiping it clean with a cloth in between each person.

Even as a second grader I was wondering how clean that really was. I was just curious if Covid altered that. Per Laz it sounds like it did - which is probably a good thing.
