More than Republicans ... but the hyper progressive/postmodernist wing represents enough of the party base that she can’t really do anything about it. I actually think that wing is probably UNDER-represented legislatively (which, to be clear, is a good thing) compared to the base of the party, but an open conflict inside the party would be fuel on the fire of any primary challenge from the left to a mainstream dem.

Unfortunately, the Republicans have put on a clinic in the last ~6 years how to let a crazy fringe of the party become the mainstream. The Dems would be wise to try and dissect how that happened and avoid it happening to them...
